I went on a holiday to Noosa in Queensland for a week and did a lot of things. Like going to spectacular Australian zoo, rainforest and whale watching.
but the one place I wanna talk about is Fraser Island. We went on a big all terrain bus thing and it was well longer than I expected. Out of the 11 hours we were there nine of those hours was driving. It was pretty ridiculous actually.
We had less than three hours actually walking around.
But apart from the trip being kinds terrible it was all worth it because those less than three hours of Fraser Island were amazing. Beautiful rainforest with prehistoric plants relatively unchanged for millions of years.
but thing that made my was that episode 6 of prehistoric park and the giant claw episode of chased by dinosaurs was filmed there. One of the places we went was lake mckenzie which is a beautiful fresh water lake and the one where most of the episode took place. And the scene in the desert at the start of the giant claw was not a desert at all and it actually just sand dunes in the interior of the island. Talk about some serious nostalgia. I think some of episode three was filmed there but I'm not sure.
